Greg Cowan

Managing Editor | Senior Writer | Colts Authority Radio Co-Host | Dark Lord of the Sith

Hi! My name is Greg!  I've been a Colts fan for as long as I can remember, probably due to some weird fascination with pain and misery. I live in Canada -I used to live in Indianapolis and I would love to make my way back one day - with my beautiful wife and two absolutely perfect children. I've been writing and podcasting about the Colts for the past 3 years. I have a slight addiction to twitter and should probably seek professional help.

Laura Calaway

Financial Wizard Lady | Director of Professionalism | Colts Authority Radio Co-Host

Laura Calaway is a behavior change management consultant who has dabbled in amateur sports writing since 2009.  She fell in love with the game of football as a young girl, when players like Vince Ferragamo, Eric Dickerson, and Nolan Cromwell graced her father's TV screen (Laura grew up in L.A.).  She was originally a fan of the Raiders, and still has a soft spot for Howie Long and Marcus Allen.

In 1991 she decided to root for a less "thuggy" team, and - not wanting to appear to be a bandwagon jumper - chose the 1-15 Colts.  The fact that Sean Dawkins, one of her contemporaries and favorite players at Cal, soon joined the team only sealed the deal.

Known as "LovinBlue" in the Colts blogging community, Laura has a particular interest in player injuries and team dynamics.  She has an undergraduate business degree from Cal and MBA from Wharton.

He has also been the Colts Featured Columnist for Bleacher Report, and most recently started the fan blog Coltsider in the fall of 2011, before joining Colts Authority upon its onset. Kyle is currently attending Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.

Todd Smith

Senior Writer | Assistant Editor

Todd Smith was born in Terre Haute but has spent more than a decade exiled in Jacksonville, Florida.

When not trolling the internet looking for interesting Colts news to share with Colts Authority readers he spends his time heckling all fourteen Jaguars season ticket holders. Todd's daughter likes football because it means eating unhealthy food.

Todd has been an avid Colts fan since 1984 including that horrific 1991 season. He also still firmly believes that Kordell Stewart stepped out of the endzone.

Ben Savage

Writer

Ben is a massive Colts fan. The NFL, NFL Draft, and what would be termed soccer in the US are his biggest passions and take up a fair amount of his leisure time. Ben hails from the UK (Primetime Games are the bane of he existence) and he is currently attending University for his final year of a Politics and International Relations degree.

Scott Kacsmar

Writer

Scott has taken a unique path to Colts' fandom: hailing from Pittsburgh, he's followed the Colts since 2002. The desire to experience real quarterback play (not the likes of Neil O'Donnell and Kordell Stewart) was a huge draw to the Colts and Peyton Manning.

With credit to his OCD over keeping records and his interest in statistics, Scott has created and maintained a variety of NFL-related data over the last eight years, with his research and writing featured on sites such as Pro-Football-Reference, Football Nation and Cold, Hard Football Facts.

His interest in Colts' blogs began with 18to88.com a few years back, and since a lot of his work revolves around the Colts, it would only make sense for it to land on Colts Authority.
