I think this is where I can write a blog so other readers can see. NOTE: I'm a guest blogger and I like writing (or typing in this case) about any Colts and NFL News Related topics.
News rose that the Minnesota Vikings are looking for a trading partner to trade Harvin for draft picks. Many NFL analysts concluded that Harvin is worth as high as a 2nd round pick and as low as a 4th round pick. Although it might sound that the Colts can take the opportunity to grab Harvin, it really wouldn’t help the Colts in a dramatic way. Harvin is more of a speed receiver which the Colts already have in T.Y. Hilton. Hilton can outrun opposing secondary’s which Harvin does also. Another reason the Colts shouldn’t go for Harvin is because the Colts are already running dry with draft picks. The Colts have only 5 picks in the 2013 draft. The draft picks are: 1st round pick, 3rd round pick, 4th round pick, 6 round pick and a 7th round pick. Both the 2nd round pick and 5 round pick were given to the 49ers and Dolphins for Vontae Davis (2nd round pick went to the Dolphins) and the 5th round pick went to the 49ers so the Colts can grab T.Y. Hilton in the 4th round. If the Colts do indeed give a 3rd round pick to the Vikings then the Colts can draft until the 4th round after the 1st round is finished. Instead maybe the Colts should get a free agent receiver like Dwayne Bowe or Greg Jennings to save draft picks.
