Patriots LOSE AGAIN!!!!
on .
Thank the good Lord that the Patriots could not pull it off! Kudo's to Eli. And Chris Collinsworth is the worst commentar ever, with nothing but loads of love for everything Patriots and Brady!
you want to know want i found funny about collinsworht last night? every time he said brady was "so cool and calm" in the pocket, he didnt have a lick of pressure near him
I think Collinsworth is one of the best. His breakdown of the two Manningham plays -- the near catch and the miracle catch -- were awesome.
He's a good commentator, yes, but clearly has the hots for Brady and the Patriots. Every bad thing that happened to the Giants was "a game changer". We almost started a drinking game, taking a shot each time he suggested the Patriots now had the upper hand. Not sure if he listens to himself. of course, you could argue that Gruden does the same with Peyton when he constantly gushes about "the sheriff"@pierrezombie
@buymymonkey I don't like Collinsworth enough to put up a big defense of him, but compared to the number of times I'd have winced at Simms or Grudworski (or even, god love him, Aikman) I'll take CC every time.
And maybe it's because I wasn't drinking enough, but I thought he had a lot of positives to say about the Giants, too. Praised that Manningham catch appropriately, and at one point he said something to the effect that if the Giants kept running the ball like that, the Pats didn't have a chance.
Also, I was grateful that he didn't talk about Gronk's ankle on every single play. That was enough of a Freeney flashback as it was.
So, I sincerely hope a lot of Colts fans are hanging out at the airport to..uh....console the crushed bieberette fans.
@flores_salicis i taunted my pats-loving friend right after the game... and somehow ended up getting invited to visit her in boston. i call this a win-win.
@ManiacallySteve I never made it home after going to a bar to watch the game, so next morning at work I still had my "18 Wins, 1 GIANT loss" haters t-shirt (courtesy of Nate himself). My boss and I enjoyed draping it over the chair of one of my coworkers who's a huge Patsies fan. Ba hahahahahahaha.
Congrats to the Giants. I'm a Colts fan but Eli is clearly the Post season quarterback in the family. Peyton is still the best regular season quarterback of all time.
Next job, sign up Peyton under a revised contract, assuming he's healthy. Make it performance driven. Get Andrew Luck - and let's rock into 2012-2013~!
So sweet. Manningham´s catch is for the ages. I´m stoked. Eli and the Giants gave us Indy fans everything we hoped for.
