nuttin' but questions

on .

The recently leaked video offers nothing but questions. The tag on the video shows a date of March 2. On that same day Kravitz tweeted that Peyton was looking good in Florida. Is Kravitz' source geographically challenged and thinks that Durham is in Florida? Was the video actually from last week when reports of Manning being at Duke surfaced? College link notwithstanding, I dont understand why Manning is in Durham OR Florida. After his well publicized separation anxiety over being away from his familiar trainer, why is he not in Indy working out with his familiar staff? Oh yeah, the atmosphere in Indy is depressing and not conducive to his rehab. I forgot.  None of this makes sense to me but I think it is clear that Peyton has divorced himself from the Colts and I dont think Irsay is unhappy about it. It is a chicken and egg situation IMO with circular logic making it a fools errand to try to determine "original sin" (not that being a fool's errand will stop anyone here from trying).

I think this is a way for Manning to give the Colts an opportunity to evaluate his progress without violating the CBA rules against him working out with Colts' coaches or management. By going to Duke he is able to throw with supervision and evaluation by a high level offensive coach who can then report to the Colts. They also have this video and can also talk to the receivers.

Now now - you shouldn't put down your posters until you see a post.  "not that being a fool's errand will stop anyone here from trying".  It's a complicated situation, somewhere between "Keep him" and "Cut him".  Anyone who just patently takes one side over the other either a) hasn't done much research, b) is tired of the whole situation and just wants it to go one way or the other or 3) is looking to goad someone into posting a reply.  I'm going with IV) is a dern fool!

Side question: did you put your name in the meta tag area?  I hope so, because you're name doesn't appear.  I've been putting my name in the meta tag for many posts, and I've not gotten bumpkins in terms of authorship.  I live for authorship.  And "Good n Plenty".

@buymymonkey I am obviously cognizant of how it reads, but it was meant to be an observation of fact, not a putdown of anyone. I dont consider myself a fool but am not above setting off on this fool's errand. When applied to myself I obviously preferred the more romantic sounding "Quixotic". Similarly it is not a putdown to say that fans are not impartial or rational. Nor did I consider it a putdown when Irsay called Peyton a politician.  And yes, I DID put my user name in the meta tag area. No idea but what do I know? I prefer Mike and Ike to Good n Plenty.
