Wojciechowski: They can work it out

Written by Todd Smith on .

Gene Wojciechowski says Peyton Manning's time in Indianapolis doesn't have to end the way Joe Montana's did in San Francisco:

Anew should have to sit in the third row of the minivan. Anew needs to take a hike.

Irsay might own the franchise, but Manning is the one who made the horseshoe relevant. Irsay needs to remember that. He needs to remember that December vow.

If healthy, Manning belongs in one place in 2012.

In Indianapolis. In Colts blue and white. The succession plan can wait.

I totally agree. The Colts would not be one of the most respected teams in the NFL if it weren't for Peyton Manning and Jim Irsay. Let's not screw it up and let Peyton go. Let's keep him until he retires. I know it takes alot of money, but would you have that money if it weren't for Peyton Manning?

A key word in that story's subheading was "maybe".

Amen. And whoever this Anew guy is, I hate him already. Third row in the minivan. That's not right.
