Week 5 Injury Update
Joe Reitz (knee) - Out
Seth Olsen (knee) - Out
Vontae Davis (ankle) - Out
Justin King (groin) - Out
Pat Angerer (foot) - Out
Dwight Freeney (high ankle) - Questionable
Samson Satele (knee) - Questionable
To catch people up on the Colts's injury report, it looks like theĀ defenceĀ - especially in the secondary - could be in a bit of trouble. With Davis and King both out and Freeney questionable, Aaron Rodgers will have more than enough time to pick apart Indianapolis. Alternately, given Green Bay's injury list, it looks like Rodgers will have one less target than usual: Greg Jennings will be taking a break to recover from a groin injury he's been battling.
Look for Green Bay to play it safe against the Colts. They're opening up a three game road trip, against Indianapolis, Houston, and St. Louis; out of the three, Indianapolis is the least important. I wouldn't be surprised if they played Pickett sparingly, giving Luck a little more time in the pocket. This also bodes well for Indy's O-line, as Olsen and Reitz are officially ruled inactive.
