Simulation: 6 picks for Luck

Written by Todd Smith on .

Drafttek has used a computer simulation to predict all seven rounds of the upcoming draft.  In one of the produced mock drafts they have the Redskins giving the Colts first, second and third round picks in 2012 and again in 2013 as well as a few players to get Luck:

Merry Christmas Redskins Fans! Drafttek will put out about 25 more mock drafts until draft day (April 26th), but honestly how many new angles can we come up with on Luck to Indy? So for this week, we're simulating a trade. The Washington Redskins give up their #1, #2 and #3 picks in both 2012 and 2013 for the right to move up and select one of the best QB prospects ever to come out of college football. And that may not be enough - toss in a few players as well.

Here's to hoping the new GM likes having a lot of picks to play with.

I think the trade values of Luck probably on its own can make up a pretty darn good football team already..... :)

@LibraColts Excellent point. It's been suggested that the value of the pick could be as high as three first rounders. Let's assume the Colts trade down in the manner suggested by Drafttek. They'll have something in the top 10, two second rounders and two third rounders.

What do you get with those five picks? My choices are: CB in the first round--Claiborne or Kirkpatrick perhaps; DT and safety in 2nd (Mark Barron maybe?); third rounders could be anything for depth.
