Richards: Updates From Colts' Practice, Mathis Expects to Play

Phil Richards of the Indianapolis Star posted some updates on who practiced and who didn't after this strange day for the team and the fans.  He says Robert Mathis is expecting to play on Sunday (Mathis' quote is great. I won't spoil it here).  Also, it looks like injuries might push Center A.Q. Shipley, just recently promoted from the practice squad, into some significant playing time with the starters:

Anthony Castonzo, Mike McGlynn and Winston Justice were at their normal spots, left tackle, right guard and right tackle respectively. But Jeff Linkenbach was at left guard and A.Q. Shipley was at center.

Whichever five guys they have out there blocking on Sunday are going to need to show some improvement over the first three games.  Click the link to get up to date courtesy of Phil Richards.

No Joe Reitz huh? That's concerning.  Also, Phil Richards saying that Linkebach's results have been "uneven" is kind to the extreme, he's been simply terrible.

@Colt_Following Yeah, I know Reitz isn't a world beater, but I'd sure like to see him back and healthy soon.  The guy's a road grader when he's 100%.  And poor Linkenbach might not be any better than Seth Olsen.
