Richards: Indianapolis Colts Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen bright spots in gloom

Written by Marcus Dugan on .

Well, it's a bit of a slow day so far for finding good, current stories on the Colts.  Nonetheless, here's what I have so far:

Phil Richards of The Indianapolis Star says Allen and Fleener have been bright spots in the Colts' gloom.  The two haven't been super productive, but remember that they're rookie tight ends.  For rookies at that position, they're making some strides:

“I thought they made great strides last week,” Arians said. “They had their best week of practice and it showed up in the game. They both played fast, they both played without a mental error for the first time this year.

Let's hope the gloom Phil Richards spoke of doesn't last too long.

Marcus, you need your contact info listed on the staff page.  Good rookie QB review by Scott Kacsmar: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/49433625/ns/sports-nfl/

@bradicus18 Yeah, we really need to update that page. It has writers who aren't here any more an it's missing me and 4 others. My email for the site is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. I must've missed Scott's article again. Thanks. I'll get it up on here later today. I think he'll have one on our site today or tomorrow too. Last week he emailed me about linking to his NBC sports article.

@MarcusDugan  @bradicus18 Tell him that his second table in the article may need to be revisited.  His Behind LOS and 20+ percentages are identical and I'm not sure as to what the Pct. field is referring and the YAC column seems to contradict what he says in the article.

@bradicus18 According to his twitter account, he seems to have caught the mistakes.  Posted a new chart.
