Richards: Davis, Angerer, Reitz Could Play

Written by Olly Dawes on .

Bad news: Jerrell Freeman wasn't practicing on Wednesday, according to a report by Phil Richards. Still, Richards's article does provide some good news: Vontae Davis went the full practice, and Angerer and Reitz look possible for Sunday after limited practice today.

"Everyone else," Arians said, "is questionable, day to day."

That includes cornerback Vontae Davis(ankle), who was a full practice participant Wednesday, and inside linebacker Pat Angerer (foot), guard Joe Reitz (knee) and tackle Winston Justice (ankle), all of whom did limited work.

If Angerer is back, Freeman might get a pass this week (depending on the severity of his injury). Still, Pat Angerer's been on the verge of coming back for so long now that we really should expect anything.

On another positive, the Indy game sold out, making it a string of 83 home games in a row. They were close for week 7  - sold out on the last day - but really, that's a testament to how dedicated Colts fans are. Hopefully their confidence will be rewarded, but it looks like Trent Richardson's coming back after all ...

At least it'll be interesting.

Correction: at the time of writing, Richards reported Freeman to be out; he later changed it to Freeney. So next week, Dwight Freeney is questionable, Jerrell Freeman is in. Thanks to bradicus18 for pointing this out.

Hmmm.  Phil B. says on his Twitter that Freeman was a "full go today" and that "evidently he didn't suffer a concussion against Jets."  He is also not listed on the team injury report on the Colts' website.  Freeney, however is listed on the injury report and Chappell said he did not practice today.  Freeney is not mentioned in Richards' report.  I kinda wonder if there is a name mix-up.  Count me as confused.

@bradicus18 Richards just fixed it on the link I set up; it was Freeney who didn't practice today, not Freeman. I was surprised too when I heard, but this makes a lot more sense.
