Reggie Wayne playing some of his best football at 33
According to Darin Gannt of Pro Football Talk, Reggie Wayne is playing some great football despite his age. He took less money than he could have and had several offers:
“I was close. Very, very close,” Wayne said of leaving. “But just one team, probably two teams, Colts fans wouldn’t have liked.”
It’s thought one of those was New England, but Wayne grinned and said: “I’ll never tell.”
Reggie, we're so glad you wanted to come back. Such loyalty is understandably rare in professional sports.
