Phil B.: Q&A with Colts GM Ryan Grigson

Written by Marco GutiƩrrez on .

While everyone is doing a great job so far for the team, Colts GM Ryan Grigson has definitely earned some love.

The 2012 draft class has been pretty good so far, and in the absence of Colts HC Chuck Pagano, both Grigson and Arians have done a terrific job.

In this nice Q&A by Phil B., it's nice to get to know him a bit better.:

Ryan: “In terms of watching the games, I’m a competitor. I’m not a reserved person and I can’t help but to show emotion when I’m watching football. I’m glad my (Lucas Oil Stadium) box is out of view and way up high on the opposite side of the field. But there’s no holes in the wall, or anything like that. I will tell you, it was so strange at Jacksonville. (Laughs.) Usually I’m fist bumping (vice president of football operations Tom) Telesco so hard that he tells me the next game his knuckles are sore, that maybe I hurt him somehow."

He has done a magnificent job putting a jigsaw of a team together with free agents and practice squad additions. What is great about him, he is always looking to improve the team everyday. He probably thinks about it in his sleep.Wait till next year, with the draft, and free agents when this team will have cap-space to bring in selective free agent talent. How good do you think they are going to be next year with money to spend? He will do a better job with more resources.
