McNabb: Manning won't go to Washington

Written by Todd Smith on .

Donovan McNabb knows a thing or two about high-profile quarterback's finding new teams in their twilight years. He doesn't believe Peyton Manning will end up in Washington:

“Now he comes over, and as they say now, Peyton is such an offensive coordinator on the offense. So now what does that do to your offensive coordinator? Does he step down? Does he step back? Does he begin to change the whole offense according to the play of the quarterback that he has in Peyton Manning? Well, I didn’t see that happen, so I definitely don’t see that happening for Peyton.”

McNabb is to Manning... as a child with a chemistry set is to Jonas Salk.

That's kinda cute that Donovan McNabb thinks that he's even a fraction of the on-field coordinator that Manning is.

(That said: I don't see any chance whatsoever that Manning would even *consider* going to Washington.)
