Luck wants to win

Written by Todd Smith on .

Who wants to lose? It's quite obvious that no player or team sets out to lose nor would any player admit openly how poor their chances are despite the odds. It's a matter of pride and Andrew Luck has plenty:

“I don't think you prepare to lose by any means. We are preparing to win, you try to win so I don't want to lose and I don't want to be apart of a losing team. I don't think anyone wants to be a part of a losing team. Obviously there will be road blocks and I need to understand the rookie year can be long and strenuous but I'm trying to approach every game with a winning attitude and I know it's terribly cliché but you have to do that,” said Andrew Luck.

yup seems like he has his head on straight, and understands what is ahead of him.  He should be a easy guy for teammates to follow, I like to see his type of mentality in the leader of my football team.

This kid really has speaking to the media down. This sounds like exactly the same thing another (former )-: ) Colts QB might have said. In these days of heightened media attention on every syllable athletes say, it's a real blessing to have a young man like this representing our team. Obviously, my comments on not based on this one article, but the overall manner he presents himself. Hard not to root for a QB like this (which more than winning, I think was one of the reasons Peyton was so amazingly popular).
