There's not much to negotiate really so it should come as no shock that Jim Irsay believes Luck will sign soon:

"It's something that should be done swiftly,'' Colts owner Jim Irsaysaid Saturday evening. "There shouldn't be a difficult process with that.''

Dan Emerson, the Colts' lead negotiator, already has been in contact with Will Wilson, Luck's agent and uncle. Irsay also has talked with Wilson.
