Why would any young quarterback want to play for an owner in Jim Irsay who tweets his every thought?
The Colts are headed for a massive rebuild. They’ve hired a first-time head coach in Chuck Pagano and will likely undertake the massive defensive overhaul of switching from the 4-3 to 3-4. The offensive line is ancient and the skill players are a mediocre lot.
Exactly who would trade up for Luck? The kind of offers the Colts would entertain would likely come from teams that are much less desirable than Indianapolis.
Derp. Derp. Derp. Yeah, no team has ever switched from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and won their division in the same year. Except, maybe, the Houston Texans. This year. In the same division Carlyon ostensibly covers every fucking day.
the offensive line is ancient? I think this guy is convinced that Jeff Saturday played five positions...
@mattshedd You forgot Ryan Diem. And I think Tarik Glenn is still on the roster? Plus, remember when Saturday played guard for a game a few years ago? So he counts as two positions. And for that matter, Diem counts at both slots on the right side. So when you're looking at a line of Glenn, Saturday, Saturday, Diem, Diem, yeah, that's pretty ancient.
