After last year, most people expected the Colts to be 2-6 at this point (and that's the optimistic fans among us. My dad had them going 3-13 this year). Given that they're 5-3, Evan Hilbert's article on Indy's midseason awards is actually bearable. Most are pretty obvious picks; one that surprised me:
Biggest disappointment -- K Adam Vinatieri: The 17-year pro is off to his worst career start, connecting on just 16 of 22 field goals for a 72.7 percent average. His worst full-season average is 73.5 percent, back in 2003.
This isn't a disappointment; a lot of us knew Vinatieri wasn't good last season, but he didn't get enough chances to prove it.
Really===that is silly=I think he has hit all the big ones-couple were tipped--Our corners are taking it on the chin-any safety without the #41 have struggled and Brown leads the league in sideways yards and seems to be great at running only if nobody is around! Our returns of kicks has consistently bad----but you think our Hall of Fame kicker is bad, Hmmmmmmm
