Enterprise News: Luck "Don't deserve" Manning/Brady comparison
How good has Andrew Luck been so far? Pretty good, right? Well, he's been so good that besides being considered as the favorite to win ROY, he's also earned some comparisons with other QBs. Pretty good QBs.
Yes, he has been compared with Manning countless times, and now, before the Patriots game, he's also been compared with Tom Brady.
Most comparisons like this are annoying, ridiculous and unrealistic. Luck might agree with this:
"I definitely don't deserve to be in that sentence or breath, as you said," Luck said. "If someday I can play at a level that Peyton and Tom Play at, then that'd be a quarterback's dream come true."
The season so far hasn't really impressed him either:
"Putting it in perspective, I think I wouldn't define this season successful by any means," said Luck. "We realize we've put ourselves in a position, hopefully, to do some good things, but we haven't gotten to our end goal yet."
Watching him play every week is fantastic. Reading this kind of answers makes it a lot better.
