Colts hire 3 assistants

Written by Todd Smith on .

Chuck Pagano is working to fill out his coaching staff. He's even hired a safeties coach before a defensive coordinator:

Marwan Maalouf will join the Colts as special-teams coach, and Roy Anderson will be their safeties coach, according to FoxSports.com. The Baltimore Sunalso reported the hirings. Maalouf was the Ravens' assistant special-teams coach in 2011, and Anderson was the Ravens' defensive assistant / secondary. Pagano was the Ravens' defensive coordinator before taking the Colts' head-coaching job last week.

Also, the Colts have added Alfredo Roberts, most recently the Buccaneers' TE coach, in the same capacity, according to the report.

At first, it looked like he was going for coaches from his old teams' rival (Steelers), but now the raid seems to have moved into the Ravens as well.
