The good news for Colts fans is that Pierre Garçon did return to practice.  This adds some credibility to his statement on Twitter that he would be ready to go for the Chiefs game.  So long as he does not suffer any setbacks, it will be the first time since the Giants game that the Colts have their three starting receivers on the field. Or will they?  Appearing on the injury report with a knee injury is Reggie Wayne.  It seems reasonable to believe that after Wayne set a career record for receptions, and racked up nearly 200 yards receiving, he could just be having some discomfort in his knee and is getting a bit of rest.  If this is the case, his practice load to increase as the week goes on.  If it does not, this could be another blow to the Colts receiving corps. Austin Collie also appears with a foot injury, and if he had to miss time as well, it would potentially push Kenny Moore into the starting lineup.  Like Wayne, though, it is reasonable to believe that whatever is ailing Collie is not serious, as he was not limited on the field against the Jaguars, so he should increase his practice load throughout the week in preparation for the Chiefs.  If he does not, Colts fans might be seeing a Colts receiver catching his first pass for Peyton Manning for the second time in three weeks. Safety Brandon King is getting healthy at just the right time as he is in the middle of a battle with DaJuan Morgan, Aaron Francisco, and Mike Newton for a long-term starting spot.  How that competition plays out is uncertain but King should be considered as ahead of Newton, who was just activated from the practice squad, and in a fair competition with Francisco and Morgan for the job.
