[caption id="attachment_1431" align="aligncenter" width="581" caption="The beginning of more positive news? Let's hope so."][/caption] No, Peyton Manning isn't tossing the pigskin around quite yet, but he's returned to the practice field in an even more exciting capacity... Walking! Per IndyStar:
Manning briskly walked laps around the Indianapolis Colts indoor practice facility Monday while his teammates stretched in preparation for their standard, light day-after-a-game workout.
Hey, at least he can walk. In all seriousness, it's awesome to see him back at the Colts facility. I don't think we can expect him back for Week 3, but at least you have some feel good news for your day. Reggie Wayne and Manning tried to lighten the mood, with Wayne joking to reporters that Manning must be "walking it off". Manning then took to the cameras with the following:
"Can I get this for my scrapbook? Pretty exciting, huh?"
Well, at least his humor isn't injured! Here's to a speedy recovery and years of more healthy football for our General/G.O.A.T.. Get well, #18.
