Injury Report: Mathis Only One to Sit Out Friday's Practice

Written by Kyle J. Rodriguez on .

Some good news on the injury reports today, albeit not unexpected. The Colts had full participation from nearly everybody on Thursday's report (save the three players ruled out for Sunday). DE Tyler Brayton (knee), LB Kavell Conner (foot), TE Brody Eldridge (knee), DT Eric Foster (knee), WR Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring) and WR Blair White (back) all practiced in full today. Robert Mathis was the only one to sit, with a sore neck. However, Mathis said that it was "just precautionary" and that he'd be fine for Sunday's game. As of now, the statuses for Sunday's game are as follows: Out: Peyton Manning (neck), Ernie Sims (knee), Gary Brackett (shoulder). Questionable: Robert Mathis (neck/chest), Tyler Brayton (knee), Kavell Conner (foot), Brody Eldridge (knee), Eric Foster (knee), Anthony Gonzalez (hamstring) and Blair White (back) Should have a pretty full roster for Sunday, save for the weakened linebacker stable, which could be low for a few weeks. This is especially encouraging for Gonzalez and White who were sidelined with injuries all preseason. It will be nice for the Colts to have more than THREE ACTIVE RECEIVERS (!!!!!) on Sunday. Go Colts!
