Whether it was through winning three Super Bowls or breaking racial barriers, Davis set a standard of excellence that he was constantly trying to exceed. Davis was responsible for hiring the first Latino head coach (Tom Flores) in the NFL and the second African-American coach (Art Shell) since the 1920s. Hopefully the Raiders can get a big W for Al when they travel to Houston on Sunday. Just win, baby. Rest in peace, Al.
