Reaction to Newly Released Colts Depth Chart

Thoughts:

• I can't believe that Jacob Lacey will keep the starting job over Justin Tryon once the season starts.
• As Paul Kuharsky says in his post, Austin Collie in the H-Back position merely means that the base offense will be three wide. Get all your weapons on the field.
• While this offensive line is not the one I hope to start the 4th game with (I'd like it to change by the first game really), I can live with it for a few games. It's already better than last year's starting line just by replacing Jamey Richards. But, if Castonzo and Ijalana aren't in the starting lineup by the fourth game, I'll be concerned.
• Blair White is last on the depth chart. Missing camp has not been good for a player who's fighting to stay on the roster. It's not looking good for him right now, especially with David Gilreath listed as the PR.
• Ernie Sims and Tommie Harris will both move up by the end of camp. I'd predict Harris to be the fifth tackle in a rotation of Johnson, Foster, Moala, and Nevis (maybe Matthews).
• Nice to see Joe Lefeged as the backup SS. I really liked him before the draft, and was ecstatic to see the Colts had signed him. I can't wait to see him play on Saturday.

Overall, take this with a huugge grain of salt. The first depth chart means very little going into September 11th. But, it's fun to talk, so we will anyway.
