  • Josh Beekman, OG
  • Casey Bender, OT
  • Joe Horn, WR
  • Devin Moore, RB
  • Chip Vaughn, DB
  • Mike Hartline, QB
They also placed Cody Glenn (LB) and Mike Newton (S) on the waived/injured list. The cut to Chip Vaughn was expected after he almost single handedly lost the game to the Packers with back to back 15-yard penalties. Coach Caldwell was visibly upset (a first) with Vaughn, screaming at him to get off the field. Devin Moore however, was somewhat of a surprise as he was expected to retain the return duties for this coming season. With players like Joe Lefeged, Chad Spann, and David Gilreath getting a lot of reps at those spots lately, the Colts' coaches look like they'd rather keep a player who can be of use at multiple positions. It's also disappointing to see Cody Glenn be hurt/cut (struggled with groin injury all camp), as he has been good on special teams and as a reserve LB in 2010. However, this leaves Ernie Sims and Adrian Moten as the likely reserve linebackers for 2011.
