Fleener has done enough to make Dwayne Allen need to compete for the #1, but I don't expect Fleener to keep that role through training camp.
Perhaps rather than designed runs for Luck, move WRs further downfield to make scrambles more viable.
Did I just describe a designed-scramble?
My best argument in favor of Indy offense is that all of the Belichicking in the world can't compete with pristine QB play from Luck. The best argument in favor of NE defense is that even the smallest amount of Belichicking can severely cripple Pagano-ball. Fortunately, we've been getting further and further away from Pagano-ball, and Belichick can only Belichick if he has enough Belichick-players with which to Belichick.
I feel if the Colts can upgrade the secondary and get another legit corner, Toler can be a pretty good slot corner
The only people outside in Indy today were the TV reporters driving around and telling people not to drive around.
Good point on somebody else stepping up. You would think though that Belichick sliding coverage to Mathis opens things up for Redding/Freeman.
The Pats O-Line is so good, Brady has time to call Giselle and take pictures of the crowd before he makes a decision to throw
I'd much rather face New England in this round. Several reasons: 1) New England's record inflated in a similar fashion as the Colts because of weaker division (albeit, no division could have been as bad as ours). 2) Delaying the circus. 3) A defense that hasn't seen Luck this year. 4) Opportunity to reset the Colts in Foxborough narrative.
To win this game, the Colts corners must be physical with the Pats receivers and win that battle all night
The Colts could beat either. Andrew Luck can can do shootout. It's a thing now. Mile High's a harder environment bc of the altitude, IMO. More scared of the shitty chargers
I can't root against Peyton Rohan. I would rather hope we go to Denver for the AFC Championship game
@thejoshbakersigh, no I didn't. The switchboard lied to me.
my hope is that they would utilize Fleener and Allen in the 2 TE set we envisioned when they were drafted
no argument here
@RobertItohDoes that leave Butler in another city?
@GregC BTR chick is the absolute worst.
@RobertItoh Preach. In terms of skill positions, TE is probably least important as far as who is #1 is concerned.
you can never have too many corners... I would get rid of Vaughn right away
