but you're picking near the bottom. I would be ok with trading the first. The ACL is not much of a concern to me, because we have seen players coming back from it. the money is the big issue
I would disagree a little in terms of trading for Revis. I think at 24, it would be a value pick. My only concern would be if they asked for picks in the 2014 draft as well
A 1 and a 3 would be fine by me... my concern, other than future picks, would be the amount of $$ Revis would be asking for
Question, would you guys be opposed to drafting a WR in the 1st if its the best player available now that Bowe is gone?
I was thinking Keenan Allen here, if he is the best available. I think it would be a good pick up
The guy you get in the draft doesn't need to start, because you must have depth in the OL. You always look for a young guy that can play more than one position in the OL in the 4th or 5th round of the draft.
I would rather pay 2 mil for another year of Donnie Avery than 8~10 mil a year for Wes Welker
The chiefs will probably draft an OT as the first overall, and they don't want to pay big bucks to another OL guy
Avril already said that he wants a LOT of money, and I mean A LOT of money (like Mario Williams type of money)
40"s times are important when a guy does really well or really poorly. Other than that we shouldn't really care.
Does anybody have the list of guys the Colts interviewed? That to me is the most important thing we should look at.
If he played fot the league minimun I'm sure the Colts would resign him. But of course he won't, he deserves more.
Bob was the most important because he would cover the cracks in the defense. Freeney was the playmaker.
And freeney I think the writing was on the wall. He struggled to fit in the new D, and he needed to play because of his contract. But it's clear to see that he needs to move on, as painful as that may sound.
@Evan Sidery If I have to pick one Kruger. But I don't think we'll be able to sign them.
But Collie was a major piece for the 09~10 seasons when he showed his great potential, however the way his career unravelled because of injuries really sucked, but made the Colts fans feel sorry and bond deeply with him.
