You can ask questions here in the open thread, on twitter @GregCowanCA and @NYKings
Grigson must have thought 8 million dollars for interior lineman was out of the question. I guess he is looking for quantity not quality. I could be wrong, but Levitre and Vasquez were the exceptions. I do not like the fact that Levitre came into our division with the titans. Brad Moore, Shonn Greene, Cason, maybe a big splash on Avril are still out there.
Not that we'll sign one, but most top FA's aren't going to jump at first offer. Of the top 50 on CBS, 12 have resigned with current team, 9 have signed with a new team, and 31 still available.
Christ that is bad!! Like I said on twitter, my one memory of Walden is him constantly getting torched by Kaepernick in the play offs!!
Either Grigson has gone crazy or he's an evil genius.... (reallllyyyy hoping for the latter)
From my Patriots supporting mate on Donald Thomas for what its worth when I asked what he thought of him..." Yeah he was good as a stand in, thought we might have kept him as Mankins not going to be round forever"
People saying Thomas is starting material as well (and i imagine with the current guards on colts he would)

Looking forward to teaming up again with fellow @UConnHuskies Donald Thomas #buildthemonster

nfldraftscout #Colts free agent moves remind me of 2001 Patriots' moves. Signing smart, tough, mid-level free agents and leaders. Love it.
PFF: The Colts appear to be just signing everyone, working out who they're actually interested in keeping later.
Toler OK if healthy. Missed all of 2011 and 5 games last year. Knee in 11 and hammy in 12.
So summary from twitter so far is that Toler, Cherilus and Thomas are good signings. Sidbury people are unsure on as was a 3-4 OLB in college but has played 4-3 DE in Atlanta, and Walden is terrible.....
@willo1904 doubt they paid much at all for Walden and Sidbury, I'd be upset if they did.
So does Polian, Herm Edwards and Eric Manginni. They would all say screw ESPN and jump back to the nfl in a second
nfldraftscout
"One of my favorite signings of the day: CB Greg Toler to the #Colts. Physical, tough cornerback. Very good opposite Vontae Davis."
I know we didn't want to overspend, but sheesh, you would think with all that cash, you would be willing to spend a little at least
Well.. since broncos signes Vasquez, maybe they'll release Chris Kuper and we can pick him up for cheap.
Still plenty of good players in FA. Barwin, Brent Grimes (CB - Atlanta), etc.
But thomas is a good signing. He is a starting calliber guy that as playing behind all pro logan mankins
Thomas and Toler both guys who looked really good in limited time last year. Bit risky, but could pay off big.
