My most important areas to fix in order are: 1. OL(tackles, guards, center, backups, etc) 2. SS 3. CB 4. OLB
Tell him to study Peyton, he got hit a bunch early too as well, but he got over it eventually.
maybe he lets his arm drop to often and is not consistently throwing it at a high release point
Any insight on why Luck gets so many passes deflected at line? And dont say it is because the line is terrible. It is better than last year's and I dont remember so many then with the crappy qbs we had then. And I don't recall seeing so many from other qbs with bad lines. Second question: what are the best free agents at our areas of need. You decide our areas. Any guesses on draft are welcome too. Third question: anyone have any prospects on a new o-coordinator? I for one wont be sad to see BA go. I liked improved running game, but the passing game should have been better than it was. Don't get me wrong I love Luck, but I expected more scrambling and easy completions for him. I also expected more use of Fleener as a receiver down the field instead of using him so often as a blocker.
I have no problems with BA as the OC. He's done a great job attacking the defense. At the moment Allen is better than Fleener. another poster mentioned jonathan Cooper from NC.
@silentkmantab i think allen has been used well. He is not a down the field matchup problem like Fleener, at least in my opinion. CF is 6'6" and can run, I think that should create some issues for defenses. I am thinking he will be better next year with experience.
@Coltswin Hes too small. only 6'4 234 with a Lazer Rocket Arm..we're used to 6'5 235
@Sandtiger But do you just keep a guy who is doing returns? how many returns did he actually have this year?
@paulcareyjr he had 1200ish return yards, with the jags last year but I dont think he returned that much this year.
@Sandtiger yeah just checked 9 returns, and even if you take away the return last week he is averaging around 28 yds per return. But we only had 42 returns last year, as long as we can have a guy that can make it to the 20 I think we should be fine.
We were talking about this Greg... they have to get an OLB that's actually gonna be able to drop back
@TheGreatMisdirect Davis was on the left side the whole game. Mostly across Smith, but he stayed on left
@paulcareyjr Ahh, was just reading a tweet from Dane Brugler (CBS Sports draft guy)
I would bring back Collie if he didnt have Concussions issues ..I want him to be able to be a functional person after football
Powers has been injured for the past few years is the thing. I don't think they bring him back unless he comes at super super cheap
Ray Lewis dance is so all over the place because he remembers hiding in that car trunk and not being able to stretch out.
I live in the Washngton DC and grew up a Redskins fan and hate to say it but the Redskins are playing great. up 14-0. What's the world coming to ? Dan Synder does not derserve to have good team.
