I'll be on with Jersey Johnny tonight about 8:15 on 1070 the Fan. I'll also be on at 12:00 on WIBC.
We'll have post-game coverage here on CA, but also check out Todd, Kyle and I at Bleacher Report today as well.
@Zachasaurus_Rex I thought the coached did pretty well. Couple blown plays, couple no PI calls killed us.
@smonroe Well, maybe the coaches did okay for most of the game (again, I got home late, so I didn't see the marjority of the game), but on that last series when Vinatieri kicked the FG, they blew it. Unquestionably blew it. You do NOT shackle Luck by having him hand off to Brown that damn close to the end zone. You do NOT play for the FG; you play for the TD and only take the FG if you fail.
So the rest of the game might have been coached ok, but that series right there gets them an "F". It gets them that grade because it's where they set the team up to lose instead of win.
And THIS is why you don't coach sans testicles in the last minute of the game. This game was lost by Pagano.
@AJ_ Eh. Offense was pathetic second half. Vinatieri shanked an easy field goal. How do you let somebody get by your secondary there? Lots of blame to go around. Lots.
@BDiddy Since I missed most of the game, I'll take your word for it. In spite of that, I"m still of the opinion that, when you're in position to drive the dagger home, you take that chance. There may have been many missed opportunities, but that doesn't change the fact that those plays on Vinatieri's field goal were utterly stupid. Go for the goddamn end zone. It was stupid playcalling and stupid coaching for those three plays.
Wow... I just got home. Only to watch some utterly retarded coaching. Why the HELL did they playcall for the field goal? And leave damn near a full minute for the LOLCats to run offense?
Jesus. That was ballless coaching.
I wouldn't be surprised if a FG got blocked. They blew up the Colts line on the one attempt.
