Dwayne Allen was invisible in the passing game because he was staying in to block every play!!
Anyone still have the video of the chagers defender draging Link 5 yards back to sack "the one that shall not be named" in 2010?

When are we getting the real refs back so I can yell at people's whose names I know for not calling holding?
@LovinBlue He got lost on his way to find tape of Jennings being a boss for the Colts?
I like the positives, excluding the drops, Brown did as well as he possibly could today.
Our O Line "you can't polish a turd"
@willo1904 From memory, Jake Long is a free agent. Unlikely they'd let him go.
Wikipedia says he's with the Titans, but I think he was recently released. NFL.com doesn't list him.
@LovinBlue I knew he was waived... I really don't see how he wouldn't be a upgrade
I can't think of any decent offensive lineman that has ever been traded.
@Ben Savage Hmm, but Philly traded the 28th overall, a 4th rounder, and a conditional 6th. Good call, though. Probably the best LT in the football.
And Greg - think about it. We might have a high pick, and there's a high amount of QBs next year. We could trade down 10 spots, pick up a 2nd and a 3rd and we're back in a good spot. Some good D on the table next year as well.
But if you don't pull the trigger on the trade you would have to spend a pick on a CB.
The score might not change today, but Chicago look like a Top 5 sorta team. If Davis can replicate Powers' production throughout the year, we might see tangible results. And I felt Jerraud and Mathis deserved mentions on D.
@Ben Savage Davis hasn't truly been coached up yet by Pagano, who turned Ladarius Webb, 3rd round pick, into a top-paid corner.
A happy Brandon Marshall will be catching a hell of a lot of passes from Cutler this season.
We got beat by a very good team today
Was Powers all that good, or as it just that we continued to see him in the camera frame?
@LovinBlue He had good coverage. Marshall and Cutler just have a really good understanding.
@BDiddy Depends, if you had Allen on the roster and our huge need at CB, I really don't mind.
@BDiddy My thinking now is that we should've picked Jonathan Martin or another 2nd round lineman rather than Fleener. Fleener played fairly well, yeah, but Allen was a better pick up in the 3rd, I think.
