Instant reaction time. We’ll have a full recap ready in about an hour.
In a close game that looked like blowout on paper, the Colts had one more chance to win with the Lions at 3rd and 7. There could have been more time left, had Cassius Vaughn not committed pass interference on a deep pass to Calvin Johnson, in whichthe giant receiver never realized the ball had been thrown.
The Lions gained 451 yards on offense, led by Calvin Johnson with 13 catches for 171 yards on twenty targets.
Andrew Luck had a tough day.
With the final seconds, and all hope, ticking away…What? WHAT?! Luck to Avery!
COLTS WIN COLTS WIN COLTS WIN COLTS WIN!!!
Full recap to come within the hour.
What amazes me is simply that a game with more than 60 combined points, it was boring...BORING for a good 55 minutes.
That was one of those that you shouldn't win, but you do anyway. Remember that feeling? It's not something we've experienced in a little while.
@Mattrellen It felt like a blowout, but they just kept hanging around, staying close.
I can't believe that just happened. We had no business winning that football game. Luck went all Tebow out there, pulling off a win in the last 4 minutes after looking beyond average for most of the game.
Dear God, I hope this is the only time Andrew Luck ever reminds me of Tim Tebow in any way.
@Payton Believe me, it pained me to do. But, Luck was simply just winging the ball all willy-nilly for most of the game before he decided to just go ahead and win the damn thing.
@zgs1288 You too? Haven't yelled like that at a colts win since we beat the Pats to move on to the Super Bowl against the Bears.
@7IHd @zgs1288 my kids were a little confused at what had just happened too. My wife and I were jumping all around our family room.
@zgs1288 My 20 month old cried after I yelled. Worth it, he was wearing colts stuff anyways.
@zgs1288 I screamed out an expletive and my daughter came out and was like "uh, Dad?"
