Colts Authority NFL Picks Challenge Week 9
Good Morning, Colts Fans. Happy Saturday to you all. It's time to pick some NFL games. Our staff has already sent in most of their Week 9 winners (at the time this was published). Now it's time for you to send us yours.
The leader among the staff is still Josh Boeke, who has nailed just under 73% of his picks.
If you'd like to see how you stack up (or if you just want something to do), take a break from raking leaves, watching TV, and practicing for your next upside-down touchdown dive, and tell us who YOU think will win this week. I'll even give you the Thursday Night game. Free of charge. Bragging rights are at stake here, especially if you can beat Boeke.
You can send your NFL picks to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. , Facebook.com/coltsauthority (like us, it'll be fun), or just leave them in the comments.
Yes, we did pretty well last week.. I've noticed a trend toward picking Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, and San Fransisco Coach Jim Harbaugh to win each week, and it's been paying off.

This week's games:
| Well, we already know how this one ended. | |
| The Ravens have had two weeks to try not to think about their miserable loss to Houston. Cleveland won last week despite only scoring one touchdown. Both teams would surely like to get their offenses back on track this weekend. | |
| Both of these teams struggle to protect their quarterbacks at times. Maybe this will be a sack party. Maybe not. Either way, I think this game comes down to whichever team...is Green Bay. | |
| Houston's days of being perpetually terrible are a distant memory. Buffalo's days as a perennial contender are also a distant memory. But, as usual, any given Sunday. | |
| Miami runs and stops the run. Indy passes well and stops the...opposing punt unit from coming on the field. Miami will be a tough test for these young Colts | |
| It's hard not to pick Chicago here, but I'm sure Tennessee would love to avoid losing a second in a row at home. | |
|
Jacksonville is a desperate home team that nearly pulled off an upset last week. Detroit played well last week but has been inconsistent. This has all the makings of an upset. But that didn't stop me from picking the Lions. |
|
| Two speedy dynamic quarterbacks face off here. My money (if I were a betting man) is on Griffin and Washington. | |
|
Denver at Cincinnati |
Two teams going in opposite directions at the moment. |
| Both teams coming off a win with equal records. But this game will be played in front of Oakland's screaming, frighteningly dressed fans. | |
| Last week, the Seahawks were on the losing end of a close, exciting game. Minnesota suffered a surprise blowout by Tampa Bay. | |
| Big Ben versus Eli. Both teams have a respectable defense, but the Giants' offense if better. | |
| I'm not ready to pick against Atlanta until they lose a game. | |
| Heading into the year, this looked like a prime match-up. How quickly things change. Several people are picking New Orleans here, perhaps because Vick has had some rough days at the office lately. |
Alright. That's it. Good luck, and Go Colts.
