It seems like I really like these offseason podcasts. I thought it was really good this week too.
hm, I thought I was horrible in the beginning, but everyone seems to have liked it. Not sure how we can carry this over into the next season. Maybe it's just a 'getting better' thing. @gizzardfanny
@GregC The only thing I didn't like was that you missed an obvious chance to make fun of Brady (I don't recall when it was, I just remember thinking: "Oh, now it's time for this weeks Brady-shot" and then it didn't come.)
@GregC Off topic, but when are you sending that email? I've been waiting in excitement since you wrote that cliffhanger.
I HAVE to pull for the Broncos. I know, i know. But I can't live in a world where the Patriots are successful. @gizzardfanny @Goéland
@GregC@gizzardfanny Are you going to root for one of the teams in this Saturday puke fest, or are you just going to hope the Earth swallows both teams whole and spits them out?
I will do my best to bash Brady every opportunity in the future. Sorry about that. @Goéland @gizzardfanny

Laura and I go for a full hour on the After Show - I explain that I'm not cheering for the Colts to lose, we talk about the draft, we talk about my kid, uh, stuff like that <3
Glad you liked it, thought I sucked it up at the beginning, Laura was great as usual
@Nathan Haza @GregC I don´t think you really need to enforce a strict time limit. Callers seems to alternate between lengthy and concise quite naturally. And for the Carls of the world, since we actually love listening to them, maybe just a gentle reminder that there are other callers? Anyway, that´s your call, and I love the show.
@GregC Eh, it's what the offseason is for! Been a lot of excitement the past couple of weeks so, dealing with all the sudden topics and ramifications all of these decisions will have on the franchise, you guys have done a superb job! It's been exciting to say the least!
I appreciate the sentiment. I do need to find a way to limit call times, though. But our callers have been great, even if I don't agree with them, interesting talking points. @Goéland @Nathan Haza
@Nathan Haza @GregC And the respectful part is too rare these days, which is why you deserve to know you´re doing it right. Now if only we could get back our favorite drunk caller! (Shake)
@GregC No, I actually love the fact you all feel free to be silly at times, and make mistakes. It wouldn´t be the same if you were trying too hard, know what I mean? And you´re always very respectful of callers, which makes this a totally enjoyable experience.
First time listener. I only caught the last 30min, but I'm trying to hang around for the aftershow & I'll be back next podcast for sure! (4shizzle!)
After Show can't be broadcast live :( BlogTalk kicks us off after 2hours, we tape the live show afterward, it is available for download with the podcast. @Marc_Indy
From Dan in Columbus,
Great job Greg and Laura....this is a rare Wed night for me to be off work....hope to catch up with you as decisions are made and more info about Manning surfaces!
probably, but it won't be live, you'll have to download if you want to hear it. @BlueRidgeColt
can you check back tomorrow? It'll be posted tomorrow. We have a big flash player on the right side of the page, it'll auto-update when the new show is ready for download. @BlueRidgeColt
You can download from iTunes, from BlogTalkRadio, or from the player on ColtsAuthority. Do you twitter? @BlueRidgeColt
Irsay stated he RARELY used his "last say" ability but would use it when necessary. How often that is with a new GM is hard to say. I would assume Rigson at first would pass most everything by Irsay for his approval and as he earns Irsay's trust, Rigson will take full control.
I don't quite buy all of Carl's conspiracy theories, but he sure makes for an interesting call.
I love how Carl talks right over Greg. He did it last week too. Hilarious......Sorry Greg just a joke.
Different perspective: What is Irsay's preparing the world for the Manning dump? and kinda trying to leave the GM out of it.
By which I mean that by focusing on him having the final decision, all the negative press would go on him if/when they get rid Manning.
Help out the first year GM by not putting him under the bus before even his first season
@mshah9008 Irsay himself will announce Manning retiring or leaving....he and Manning are together on Manning staying, if he's not...for any reason...Irsay will announce it.
@thefrozz Oh i fully imagine so, but I'm saying that by hamming in so hard that he has the final say, he's just putting the after effects of that decision on himself.
He doesn't want to have to release PM and then the new GM get all the blame/negativity in the media for making the right/wrong decision
