We'll have post-game coverage here on CA, but also check out Todd, Kyle and me at Bleacher Report today as well.
Also, catch me on 1070 the Fan at 8 pm with Jersey Johnny after the game.
So I was angry angry during the game. Some idiotic penalties (real and imagined). With a better O Line we could have been in this game. We sort of were. Now that the game is over, I'm not quite as angry. Luck is starting to worry me a bit. I dunno. Last two games have not been very good for him. Of course, he's running for his life, but he seems to get scared and look for Wayne (and throw it to him). Not doing well with reads down the field.
And Mwelde Moore? Didn't we cut him cause he fumbled a lot? Or was that Delone Carter. Think how different the game would have been had we scored from the 1 yard line? And take away the blocked punt and we're standing right with the Texans.
I don't know about Arians. Will Pagoni make better decisions? Will he question Arians? Do coaches call the offensive plays? Not that I'm aware of.
Just an odd game for me. And I now have three teams I hate the most: Patriots, Chargers, Texans.
@buymymonkey Said earlier that I hope there are no long term psychological effects on Luck after this year. However I don't know why Arians doesn't roll him out more to avoid pressure especially as he throws well on the run.
@buymymonkey Coincidentally, 87 hasn't been as hot as before. Teams are adjusting to what we do. It's gotten tougher...don't forget 12 is a rookie! This is all gravy, we shouldn't be doing what we''ve done this season, nothing to get angry for...for me, this is all gravy!
should be interesting seeing how our line shapes up this offseason, not really worried about this game a ton, the Texans D is really good, but I think there still should be improvement from our team.
11-2 they may be but elite they aint. If Indy doesnt take the crown back next year, I will be genuinely shocked. Kubiak is killing Houston...
I really don't want to hear CBS talk about the Texans offense like they accomplished something today. They scored one touchdown against our very mediocre defense. I doubt they walk away from today feeling too good about themselves.
I may be in the minority but I don't see why without better game planning and more sensible coaching, this team cant win the second game against the Texans in Inidy. They're stacked with better talent but their coaching isn't great and they make stupid mistakes and commit silly penalties, this Houston team is not elite. We're taking our crown back next year HTown, enjoy this while it lasts :D
This does not look like a 1 seed to me. They may lose next week. I hope they do. I was expecting a loss today but to get this close just kind of pisses me off.
I think we played a much better game than most thought, proud of our team we keep improving, now just make sure we win next week
texans will get the win but they won't feel good about it. this team is vulnerable.
That would've been an incredible pass if it were 1. Lower, and 2. Didn't have so much heat.
@AJ_ never, when under pressure throwing a ball that on target is more than good enough...
@paulcareyjr Yeah, despite the slight sail and velocity, I'm just impressed he even got it there. Most other QBs would've sailed it ten yards off and not even have come close.
You can call that if a guy is getting tackled, that changes the trajectory of the ball, stupid
