Manning's outlook long-term
Mike Chappell writes that the Colts appear to be taking a long-term approach to Manning's recovery:
The short-term outlook for Peyton Manning includes no team-related practices, no appearance in the final two games and a failed end-of-the-season physical exam.
Even so, the Indianapolis Colts are optimistic Manning's long-term rehabilitation regimen will provide the information necessary to determine if the NFL's only four-time MVP figures into their plans for next season and beyond.
