With the 188th pick the Colts select Chris Rucker, CB, Michigan State
With their 5th and likely final pick in the 2011 draft the Colts selected Chris Rucker, CB, Michigan State. Not a player I expected to be on Indy's radar, Rucker is a talented player, but carries a load of character concerns. Plead guilty to assault last Feburary and spent 8 days in jail this past fall after a DUI arrest (reduced to reckless driving) violated his probation. Rucker is excellent in run support and has NFL size and athleticism. A serious gamble of the type the Colts don't generally take.
